Bellingham Castle Hotel

Since the 17th century, Bellingham Castle was one of the ancestral homes for the Bellingham family. It has a rich and varied history through the years and was purchased in 1967 where many years renovation works were spent turning it into a hotel. Since the new owners, the Corscadden family, recently purchased the hotel, Audrey Gaffney Associates have been working intensively to recreate the lavish splendour that would have once been celebrated at Bellingham Castle.  Each of the 19 bedrooms has been uniquely designed with individually details exclusive to each room.

There are also a large array of reception and public rooms, from The Library Room, a snug elegant room to relax and enjoy a whiskey or read a book, to the Chapel Bar and its richly decorated interiors with deep colours and soft fabrics.  The Ballroom has been gracefully designed with classic painted panelling housing curtains and crystal chandeliers adoring the ceiling.  A warm open fire greets each guest upon entering the luxurious room while a wall of French doors lead you out into the hotel garden and to the river beyond.  An exclusive, 5-star setting for any occasion.
